Many enquiries can be dealt with quickly by
phone or by email. This will also save you the
journey to our bureau and maybe the need to
wait. Whichever way you choose to
contact us, please bear in mind that we do not
offer appointments until after your enquiry has
been evaluated by an assessor either in person,
by phone or by email.
There are four ways to access advice services.
Online:-
Locally:-
The majority of advisers are trained volunteers,
helping the Citizens Advice service nationally to
resolve over 7 million new problems every year.
The service couldn’t survive without its 21,000
fantastic volunteers, but we still need more.
In Taunton we are looking for all sorts of people
with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer
with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.
From time to time we also have opportunities
for paid roles.
The Citizens Advice service doesn’t just exist
to provide advice in times of need or crisis –
we also campaign for changes to policy and
practice that will benefit millions of people each
year by preventing problems arising in the first
place

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an
independent charity we rely on the support
of people like you.
With a Citizens Advice Bureau in our
community people always have somewhere
to turn in times of crisis but the unmet
demand for our services continues.

making a contribution to our running costs:-
